Bolivia, through the Ministry of Sustainable Production, Environment and Water (Coordinating Unit of the UCP/PAAP Program), has financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the "Lake Titicaca Sanitation Program (PSLT)" (Loans 3730/BL-BO and 3731/OC-BO). This call for National Public Bidding (LPN) invites eligible bidders to submit closed proposals for the execution of the improvement and expansion works of the Puchukollo Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP).

Scope of the works Main objective: Execution of the works corresponding to the conclusion of Phase 1 of the project for the improvement and expansion of the Puchukollo WWTP (Process No. BO-L1118-P00281/LPN-O).

Reference amount and term: Reference price of BOB $15,371,862.00 (Fifteen Million Three Hundred Seventy-One Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty-Two 00/100 Bolivianos), with an estimated construction period of one hundred and eighty (180) days.

Qualification Requirements and Conditions

Regulatory framework: National Public Bidding (LPN) conducted in accordance with the IDB's Policies for the Acquisition of Works and Goods.

Evaluation criteria: Verification of the company's general and specific experience, profile of key personnel, availability of equipment and infrastructure, as well as compliance with financial and legal requirements.

Guarantee and preference: Mandatory submission of the Bid Maintenance Statement. No margin of preference will be granted to national contractors or consortia (APCA).

Management and submission of bids Access to the rules: Bidding documents in Spanish can be formally requested in writing or via email ([contact details removed]), or downloaded directly from the State Contracting System (SICOES) platform in www.sicoes.gob.bo.

Delivery modality: Physical delivery of proposals in a sealed envelope at the offices of the UCP/PAAP in La Paz (Zona Obrajes, Av. Hernando Siles Nº 5631, Edificio Zegarra - Allegro, Piso 2, entre calles 10 and 11 de Obrajes). The sending of electronic bids is not authorized. The opening of the envelope will be carried out in a public face-to-face event.
