REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

Assignment Title: Selection of Individual Consultant

Credit No.: IDA / 7229-PK

The Government of Sindh (herein after called Borrower) has received financing from the International Development Association (IDA) (the Bank) in the form of a credit (hereinafter called credit) towards the cost of strengthening social protection system in Sindh .

The Project Director, Project Management & Implementation Unit, Strengthening Social Protection Delivery System in Sindh and it is intended to apply part of the proceeds of this credit for payments to the following “Individual Consultant Services” to be procured under this project.

The consulting services to be procured on purely contractual basis are as follows:

Quality Assurance (Nos. 1) At least a Bachelor’s degree (16 years) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field Recognized QA certifications will be a plus

Experience:

At least five (05) years’ experience of working as Quality Assurance in organizations managing large Software Systems infrastructure. Over two years of experience in software development and database management, with familiarity in programming languages and frameworks such as Flutter, PHP (Laravel), MySQL. Expertise in Java/kotlin, JavaScript (Next.js, React, Angular), and Python (Fast API) will be a plus. Excellent command over SQL – with experience of at least 2 years. Hands on experience in testing of web-based and mobile enterprise applications.

Skills:

Good analytical and communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly in writing. Solid understanding of quality models including ISO 27001 and CMMI is required.
