What Are the KAUTE Foundation Water Technology Grants? Clean Drinking Water Research may address technologies, processes, or analytical approaches that contribute to the production and quality assurance of clean drinking water. Water Purification Technology Projects may focus on developing or improving technologies used to purify water and achieve required quality standards. Water Analytics Research involving the analysis, measurement, monitoring, or characterization of water quality can be relevant to the programme. Ultra-Pure Water Projects focused on the production, quality, monitoring, or technological challenges associated with ultra-pure water are supported. Water for Pharmaceutical Applications Research may address clean water requirements and technologies relevant to the pharmaceutical industry. Water for Hospitals Projects concerning clean and highly controlled water systems for healthcare and hospital environments may also be supported. What Research Is Not Funded? The programme has important exclusions. The KAUTE Foundation does not fund projects primarily related to: Natural waters. Wastewater treatment. Researchers should therefore carefully distinguish between general water-related research and research that specifically fits the Foundation’s water technology priorities. A project about lakes, rivers, groundwater ecosystems, or natural water systems may not qualify simply because it involves water. Similarly, wastewater treatment projects fall outside the stated funding scope. Who Is Eligible to Apply?
