Die Universität Bielefeld plant die Errichtung eines Campus übergreifenden Überwachungssystems, welches diverse Bereiche abdecken wird.

Lots Lot 1 — Videoüberwachung Campus: Dieser Aufbau muss folgendes beinhalten: den Austausch des Videoüberwachungssystem der Frauenparkplätze im Parkhaus des Gebäudes X und Neuinstallation des Systems für das Parkhaus BLB. In Zukunft soll das Parkhaus des neuen Campus Süd, sofern dies gebaut wird, auch in das Videosystem eingebunden werden. Auf dieses neue Videomanagementsystem sollen außerdem die Rechenzentrenräume des BITS im Gebäude X, CITEC und der Raum der zentralen Kasse der Universität Bielefeld aufgeschaltet werden.
