Die nachfolgend beschriebene Baumaßnahme stellt einen Krankenhaus Neubau als Ersatzneubau für das im Bestand befindliche, perspektivisch abzubrechende Kreiskrankenhaus Alsfeld dar. Der geplante Neubau ist ein Krankenhaus der Grundversorgung. Der Neubaukörper stellt sich als viergeschossiger Quader dar, dessen Obergeschosse zum Erdgeschoss versetzt sind. Im Überhang befindet sich der Haupteingang. Die notwendigen Technikzentralen werden eingerückt als untergeordnete Bauteile auf der Dachfläche des Baukörpers angeordnet. Gegenstand der Ausschreibung sind Stahlbauarbeiten. Die Leistung umfasst die Herstellung, die Lieferung und die Montage von zwei geschlossenen, wärmegedämmten Stahlbau-Technikzentralen auf dem Flachdach über 3.OG des 5-geschossigen Baukörpers (UG, EG plus drei Vollgeschosse), einer Sichtschutz Einhausung mit Aluminiumlamellen für Wärmepumpen und einem Vordach, bestehend aus Stahlstützen, Stahlträgern und einem geneigten Stahl-Trapezblech-dach für eine Liegendkrankenvorfahrt (LKV).
