Lots Lot 1 — 048 26_Erneuerung VMware Umgebung: Ziel der Beschaffung ist die Sicherstellung eines zukunftsfähigen, sicheren und vom Hersteller unterstützten Betriebs der Virtualisierungsplattform. Durch die Migration auf die aktuelle Produktgeneration sollen die Voraussetzungen für den langfristigen Betrieb der virtuellen Server- und Infrastrukturumgebung geschaffen sowie aktuelle Funktionen, Sicherheitsupdates und Hersteller-Support genutzt werden können. Die zu beschaffenden Leistungen umfassen somit die Bereitstellung der erforderlichen VMware-vSphere-Foundation-Lizenzen für den vorgesehenen Nutzungsumfang einschließlich Wartungs-, Update- und Supportleistungen durch den Hersteller für die Vertragslaufzeit von fünf Jahren. Die bestehende Virtualisierungsumgebung soll hinsichtlich Funktionalität, Verfügbarkeit und Betriebsstabilität nachhaltig abgesichert und an die aktuellen Lizenz- und Produktmodelle des Herstellers angepasst werden. Bei der Beschaffung handelt es sich um einen Teil des Gesamtkonzeptes, welches die strategische Ausrichtung der Unternehmensgruppe widerspiegelt und sich vollumfänglich in das bestehende System integriert.
