Im Rahmen des Projektes SPS Limburg-Altenkirchen werden insgesamt 3 neue ESTWen der Firma Scheidt und Bachmann gebaut sowie insgesamt 9 Bahnübergänge erneuert oder umgebaut. Diese Ausschreibung beinhaltet die Baumaßnahmen des Tiefbaus auf der Strecke 3730 von km 2,135 - km 31,44. Hierbei soll einerseits der Kabeltiefbau auf dem gesamten Streckenabschnitt durchgeführt werden sowie die Signalgründungen umgesetzt werden. Ein weiterer Bestandteil der Ausschreibung ist das Kabel ziehen auf dem gesamten Streckenabschnitt.
