Der Zoo Duisburg plant den Bau einer neuen Zoo-terrassen mit angrenzender Savannenanlage. Für die Zooterrassen ist ein modernes Multifunktionsgebäude geplant, in der sich eine Gastronomie, Veranstaltungs- und Büroräume für die Zooverwaltung sowie eine Parkebene befinden soll. Eine großzügige Außen-terrasse schließt sich an den Gastronomiebereich, mit Blick in den Zoo und auf die neu gestaltete Savannenanlage.
