Der Beschaffungsgegenstand beinhaltet die Bereitstellung der erforderlichen Softwarelizenzen, die zentrale Verwaltung der Hostsysteme, die Unterstützung von Hochverfügbarkeitsfunktionen und die Unterstützungsleistung für die Integration in die bestehende IT-Infrastruktur.

Lots Lot 1 — VMware Subscriptions: Ziel der Beschaffung ist die Sicherstellung des supportfähigen, hochverfügbaren und lizenzkonformen Weiterbetriebs der bestehenden Virtualisierungsinfrastruktur sowie die Einholung begleitender Integrationsunterstützung. Durch die Bereitstellung moderner VMware-Infrastrukturkomponenten, konkret der VMware vSphere Foundation (VVF), sowie die Beauftragung fachspezifischer Dienstleistungen wird eine stabile, wirtschaftliche und zukunftssichere Weiterentwicklung der zentralen Betriebsplattform gewährleistet. Dies umfasst neben der Bereitstellung der erforderlichen Softwarelizenzen insbesondere die Sicherstellung der zentralen Verwaltung aller Hostsysteme sowie die durchgängige Aufrechterhaltung geschäftskritischer Hochverfügbarkeitsfunktionen für die Serverinfrastrukturen.
