Die Erweiterung des Geschwister-Scholl-Gymnasiums an der Ludwigstraße in Garbsen-Berenbostel erfolgt durch einen separaten Schulneubau in unmittelbarer Nähe nördlich zum Bestandsbau. Der Badepark Garbsen mit der angrenzenden Rudolf-Harbig-Halle, das Rückhaltebecken nördlich des Bearbeitungsgebiets und die James-Krüss-Grundschule im Osten umschließen das Planungsgebiet. Die Ludwigstraße dient als Haupterschließung für die neuen Pkw-Stellplätze des Neubaus. Das Bauvorhaben umfasst eine Neugestaltung des kompletten nördlichen Schulhofs und des nord- und östlichen Bereichs des Bestandsbaus des Geschwister-Scholl-Gymnasiums.
