Das Bestandsgebäude wird durch einen Erweiterungsbau, bestehend aus vier oberirdischen Geschossen und einem Untergeschoss, ergänzt. Der Erweiterungsbau wird an der Südseite über einen Verbindungsbau an das bestehende Schulgebäude angeschlossen. Es werden die innenliegenden Sanitärräume, die Küche sowie die Technik und Nebenräume im UG, der Mehrzweckraum und zur Einhaltung der Luftqualität gemäß VDI 6040 die Klassen- und Gruppenräume mechanisch be- und entlüftet. Dazu sind diverse Lüftungsanlagen vorgesehen.
