Der Landkreis Cuxhaven beabsichtigt, die Erfassung und Durchführung der wiederkehrenden Prüfungen der nicht ortsfesten (ortsveränderlichen) elektrischen Betriebsmittel nach den Unfallverhütungsvorschriften DGUV 203-071 an einen externen Elektrofachbetrieb zu vergeben. Geprüft werden sollen alle vorhandenen ortsveränderlichen Betriebsmittel (geschätzt 41.878 Geräte) in den z.Zt. 75 Einrichtungen des Landkreises Cuxhaven in einem einjährigen Turnus über eine Vertragslaufzeit von fünf Jahren. Die Prüfung der ortsveränderlichen elektrischen Betriebsmittel erfolgt 1-phasig (230 V) gemäß TRBS 1201 und DGUV Vorschrift 3/4 nach Prüfnorm DIN EN 50678 (VDE 0701) bzw. DIN EN 50699 (VDE 0702).
