Die Stadt Wetter (Ruhr) realisiert die Sanierung des Geschwister-Scholl-Gymnasium Wetter an der Hoffmann-von-Fallersleben-Straße 28 in 58300 Wetter (Ruhr). Ziel der Maßnahme ist die Sanierung des Gymnasiums sowie der angrenzenden Dreifach-Wettkampfsporthalle (inklusive energetischer Sanierung) einschließlich einer Schadstoffsanierung. Das Gymnasium liegt in zentraler Lage in Wetter (Ruhr) im Ennepe-Ruhr-Kreis. Das Schulgrundstück befindet sich in einem gewachsenen Wohngebiet. Die Sanierung des Gymnasiums - mit Ausnahme der naturwissenschaftlichen Räume in Ebene 00, die bereits im Jahr 2019 saniert wurden - erfolgt in zwei Bauabschnitten. Die Sanierung der Sporthalle ist im Anschluss vorgesehen. Erneuert werden die gesamte technische Gebäudeausrüstung, sämtliche Oberflächen (Boden, Decken, Wände), das Dach sowie die Fassade einschließlich der Fenster. Beide Bauabschnitte beginnen jeweils mit einer Schadstoffsanierung.
