Details

Die Mainlände Volkach soll als grüner naturnaher Parkraum am Flussufer gestaltet werden. Der zentrale Bereich zum Main hin wird mit offenen Wiesen und Rasenflächen entwickelt. Die Zugänge aus der Altstadt werden direkt zu punktuellen Aufenhaltsbereichen am Wasser geführt, begleitet von Baumreihen als optische und räumliche Fortsetzung der angrenzenden Obstbaumreihen als Nutzgärten. Ein naturnaher Spielplatz für alle Altersstufen sowie ein großzügiger Jugendsportbereich unter der Mainbrücke werden in die Grünanlage eingebettet. Die Wohnmobilstellplätze werden reduziert neu hergestellt, eine neue Slipanlage für die Wasserwacht wird hergestellt.
