Die Zollernalb Klinikum gGmbH ist eine Gesellschaft in privater Rechtsform mit dem Zollernalbkreis als öffentlichem Alleingesellschafter. Derzeit erfolgt die medizinische Versorgung an den Standorten Albstadt und Balingen mit insgesamt 468 Betten der Grund- und Regelversorgung. Zur langfristigen Sicherung einer leistungsfähigen, wirtschaftlichen und modernen Gesundheitsversorgung ist die Zusammenführung der bestehenden Standorte in einem zentralen Neubau vorgesehen. Geplant ist die Errichtung eines Zentralklinikums am Standort "Firstäcker" bei Balingen-Dürrwangen. Ziel ist die Bündelung von Fachkompetenzen, die Schaffung effizienter Strukturen und die nachhaltige Sicherstellung der Gesundheitsversorgung im Zollernalbkreis. Die ausschreibungsgegenständliche Leistung umfaßt Erd- und Rohbauarbeiten für den Neubau des Zollernalbklinikums. Es wurden im Vorfeld bereits Erdbauarbeiten ausgeführt, der Bieter übernimmt eine in Teilen vernagelte Baugrube mit Grobplanum. Dier Bieter führt alle Betonarbeiten aus, zudem Drainagearbeiten unter der Bodenplatte und um das Gebäude, außerdem Mauerwerksarbeiten und Einlegarbeiten teilweise beigestellter Leistungen.
