BMPII Backnang Für die Maßnahme BMPII Backnang – Erneuerung Bahnsteig 2 und Neubau Aufzug Bahnsteig 3 ist die umfassende Erneuerung und Modernisierung der Verkehrsanlagen im Bahnhof Backnang vorgesehen. Hierzu wird der bestehende Mittelbahnsteig 2 zurückgebaut, verkürzt und anschließend vollständig neu errichtet. Im Zuge der Bahnsteigerneuerung werden zudem die erforderlichen 50-Hz-Maßnahmen umgesetzt sowie die Medientrennung hergestellt. Weiterhin erfolgt die Sanierung der bestehenden Personenunterführung einschließlich der zugehörigen 50-Hz-Anlagen. Darüber hinaus wird an Bahnsteig 3 ein neuer Aufzug errichtet, welcher an die städtische Personenüberführung angebunden wird. Ergänzend hierzu ist die Verfüllung eines bestehenden Gewölbes im Bereich von Bahnsteig 3 vorgesehen. Parallel zu den vorgenannten Maßnahmen werden im Projektumfeld Arbeiten an der Oberleitungsanlage (OLA) sowie Maßnahmen der Leit- und Sicherungstechnik (LST) durchgeführt. Die einzelnen Leistungen stehen in einem engen räumlichen, technischen und zeitlichen Zusammenhang und dienen gemeinsam der Erhöhung der Barrierefreiheit, der Modernisierung der Verkehrsstation sowie der nachhaltigen Erneuerung der vorhandenen Infrastruktur im Bahnhof Backnang.
