Das Haus gehört zur Stiftung Stadtmuseum Berlin und ist mit seiner inhaltlichen Ausrichtung auf die Geschichte der Gegenwart Berlins das flächenmäßig größte Museum der Stiftung. Es ist als Einzel-denkmal in der Berliner Denkmalliste aufgeführt. Gegenstand der vorliegenden Ausschreibung ist die Errichtung der provisorischen Heizanlage für die Winterperioden während der Bauzeit.
