Lots Lot 1 — Umgestaltung Plärrer - VP8140 Fahrleitung Teil 1: Die Stadt Nürnberg und die VAG planen gemeinsam die Umgestaltung und funktionale Neuordnung des Plärrers, um den vorhandenen Raum neu zu strukturieren, einen Beitrag zur Verbesserung des Stadtklimas zu leisten, die Nutzung des ÖPNV komfortabler zu machen und einen angenehmen Umsteige- und Aufenthaltsort zu gestalten. Als eine der ersten Maßnahmen soll die Fahrleitungsanlage der Steinbühler Straße sowie auf der sogenannten kleinen Plärrerinsel, also der Grünfläche zwischen der Kreuzung der Gostenhofer Hauptstraße – Ludwigstor / Spittlertorgraben über den Plärrer, umgebaut werden. Die Maßnahme umfasst den Rückbau und den Neubau von ca. 340 m Fahrleitungsanlage, davon ca. 35 m als bauzeitliches Provisorium. Dieses Provisorium dient der Anbindung des zu erneuernden Streckenabschnittes an die bestehenden Gleise auf der großen Plärrerinsel und wird zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt, wenn dieser Bereich umgebaut wird, wieder zurückgebaut.
