Prosjektet omfatter etablering av en ny kommunal avløpspumpestasjon ved Fyllingsveien i Kirkenes. Den nye pumpestasjonen skal erstatte eksisterende pumpestasjon og leveres som en komplett driftsklar enhet, inkludert alle nødvendige komponenter, installasjoner og hjelpesystemer for sikker, stabil og effektiv drift.Pumpestasjonen skal dimensjoneres for mottak og transport av avløpsvann fra tilknyttet industri- og næringsbebyggelse. Eksisterende ledningsnett i området består i stor grad av eldre fellesledninger for spillvann og overvann. Dette inkluderer tilrenning fra drenssystemer, gatesluker og øvrige overvannskilder. Som følge av dette må den nye pumpestasjonen dimensjoneres for betydelige variasjoner i hydraulisk belastning, inkludert perioder med høy innlekking og overvannstilførsel.Eksisterende avløpspumpestasjon med tilhørende infiltrasjonskum skal demonteres, saneres og leveres til godkjent mottak i henhold til gjeldende regelverk.Det skal etableres driftsoverløp fra ny pumpestasjon til ny driftsoverløpskum ved sjøkanten. Overløpsanlegget skal sikre kontrollert avlastning ved driftsforstyrrelser eller kapasitetsoverskridelser.Alle berørte arealer skal settes tilbake til minst samme standard som før anleggsarbeidene ble igangsatt. Dette omfatter blant annet kommunal vei.
