Le contrat comporte des tranches optionnelles définies au cahier des charges. Le détail du phasage de l'opération figure au cahier des charges. Les prestations sont réglées par des prix unitaires et forfaitaires. La 2CCAM dispose de données hétérogènes selon les communes, le diagnostic réalisé préalablement à la prise de compétence l'a montré (2CCAM - Etude pour le transfert des compétences AEP et DECI - Espelia - Octobre 2023). Afin de pouvoir mieux piloter la gestion de l'eau à l'échelle de son périmètre de compétence, la 2CCAM souhaite mettre à un même niveau de connaissance l'ensemble des unités fonctionnelles, et disposer d'outils de gestion globaux : SIG, modèle du réseau, planification des actions et travaux. Le travail à mener comprend également la mise à jour des obligations réglementaires de la collectivité vis-à-vis du PGSSE et du schéma de distribution. Le périmètre du schéma directeur unifié couvre cinq communes : Cluses, Magland, Marnaz, Mont-Saxonnex et Nancy-sur-Cluses. À titre indicatif : 9 295 abonnés, 16 captages ou groupes de captages, 6 unités de potabilisation dont l'usine de Pressy à Cluses, 20 réservoirs, 211 km de canalisations, près de 1,8 million de m³ produits et 11 unités de distribution (UDI). Les interconnexions avec des communes hors périmètre (Scionzier, Thyez notamment) sont traitées dans le schéma
