Maanteiden hoitourakka on tavoitehintainen palvelusopimus, jossa korostetaan tilaajan ja urakoitsijan välistä sopimuksen aikaista yhteistyötä. Maanteiden hoitourakassa urakoitsijalle kuuluvat hoidonjohtotehtävät, hoitotöiden hankinnat ja sopimuksenmukaiset hoitotyöt. Sopimus kattaa maanteiden talvi- ja kesähoidon sopimusasiakirjojen mukaisesti. Sopimukseen sisältyy Alavuden urakka-alueella sijaitsevien maanteiden kesä- ja talvihoito. Sopimukseen kuuluvaa tiestöä on yhteensä noin 1 050 kilometriä, josta Is 2-ajorataista noin 5 km, Is 1-ajorataista noin 95 km, Ib 1-ajorataista noin 190 km, sorateitä noin 400 km ja kävely- ja pyöräilyväyliä noin 60 km. Urakkaan sisältyy vesitalousosaston tehtäviä. Urakka on vaativuudeltaan perusurakka.
