Vantaan kaupunki järjestää tarjouskilpailun Vantaan asukaslehden painotyön ja jakelun hankinnasta. Optiona palveluntarjoaja voi tarjota telineitä, joissa lehden voi ottaa omatoimisesti asiakaspalvelupisteissä. Asukaslehti on Vantaan kaupungin julkaisema viranomaistiedote, jonka pitäisi tavoittaa kaikki kotitaloudet. Lehti on tuotettu sisällöllisesti kaupungin viestinnässä. Kilpailutuksessa ovat mukana painatus ja jakelu, mutta myös uudenlaisia tuotantomalleja harkitaan ennen kilpailutuksen aloittamista. Nykyisen paperikoko on leikattu tabloidi, mutta vaihtoehtona mukana kilpailussa on myös aikakausilehden paperikoko. Tavoitteena asukaslehden olisi tärkeä erottua erityisesti ilmaisjakeluna jaettavasta Vantaan Sanomista sekä muista paikallislehdistä. Hankinta koostuu Vantaan kaupungin asukaslehden nelivärisen painetun lehden rotaatiopainotyöstä sekä osoitteettomasta jakelusta. Lehdestä painetaan vuositasolla 2–4 eri laajuista (20–48 sivua) julkaisua. Jakelu koskee kaikkia sopimuskaudella Vantaan kuntarajojen sisäpuolella sijaitsevia kotitalouksia ja Vantaan kaupungin virastoja, laitoksia ja asiakaspalvelupisteitä. Jakelu toteutetaan osoitteettomana jakeluna. Tarkemmat painotyötä sekä jakelua koskevat tekniset vaatimukset löytyvät tarjouspyynnön liitteestä 2 Tekniset vaatimukset. Sopimus solmitaan yhden toimittajan kanssa, joka vastaa hankinnan kohteena olevan kokonaisuuden tuottamisesta. Tarkempi päivä ensimmäiselle painotyölle ja jakelulle sovitaan sopimuksentekovaiheessa. Jakelu tapahtuu etukäteen sovittuna viikonpäivinä. Sopimus on kestoltaan 24 kuukautta ja sopimusta voidaan jatkaa kahdella yhden vuoden optiolla.
