Hankinnan kohteena on kahden uniikin (tarjottuja leikkivälineitä ei ole toimitettu muualle) leikkivälineen toimittaminen asennettuna Lappeenrannan kaupungille. Hankittavat leikkivälineet tulevat Lappeenrantaan satama-alueelle. Ensimmäisen leikkivälineen teemana on "Hevonen" ja toisen leikkivälineen teemana on "Linna". Välineiden tulee mahtua kaikkine rakenneosineen ja putoamisalustoineen tarjouspyynnössä esitetyille tilavarausalueille. Tarjouspyynnöllä haetaan kahta uniikkia, ympäristöön sopivaa ja eri ikäryhmät huomioivia leikkivälinettä. Leikkivälineiden tulee olla myös keskenään yhteensopivia ulkonäöltään. Kilpailutus tehdään käänteisenä kilpailutuksena, eli ranskalaisena urakkana. Käänteisessä kilpailutuksessa hankinnan enimmäishinta on määritelty etukäteen, eli hinnoilla ei kilpailla. Tästä tulee myös termi kiinteähintainen kilpailutus. Tarjoajat siis kilpailevat yksinomaan laatutekijöillä. Hankintaa ei jaeta osiin. Tarjoajan on tarjottava molemmat leikkivälineet. Hankinnan arvo on 280 000 euroa (alv 0%). Sopimuskausi alkaa mahdollisimman pian hankintapäätöksen saatua lainvoiman. Sopimus alkaa aikaisintaan, kun molemmat osapuolet ovat allekirjoittaneet sopimuksen. Sopimus on voimassa siihen asti, kunnes leikkivälineet ovat hyväksytysti toimitettu sekä asennettu ja hyväksytysti käyttöönotettu tilaajan määrittämiin kohteisiin.
