Hankinnan kohteena on sotilaskalusteet. Hankinta on jaettu 4 eri osa-alueeseen Osa-alue 1. Sotilassängyt (vakio sänky ja ylipitkä sänky 220 cm) Osa-alue 2. Sängynpäädyt Osa-alue 3. Sotilaskaapit (vanha ja uusi malli) Osa-alue 4. Pöytäkaluste Puolustuskiinteistöt voi hankkia osa-alueiden 1-3 tuotteita. Osa-alueesta 3 sotilaskaappi vanha malli ei kuulu Puolustuskiinteistöjen hankinnan kohteeseen ja osa-alue 4 Pöytäkalusteet ei kuulu Puolustuskiinteistöjen hankinnan kohteeseen eikä Puolustuskiinteistöt voi tehdä niistä tilauksia. Puolustusvoimat voi hankkia osa-alueiden 2–4 tuotteita. Osa-alue 1 Sängyt ei kuulu Puolustusvoimien hankinnan kohteeseen, eikä Puolustusvoimat voi tehdä kyseistä osa-aluetta koskevia tilauksia. Jokaiseen osa-alueeseen valitaan yksi (1) sopimustoimittaja. Kuljetus ja asennus sisältyvät hankinnan hintaan. Hankinnan kokonaisarvo on noin 9 160 000 milj. € (alv 0%). Senaatti-kiinteistöt toteuttaa hankinnan Puolustuskiinteistöjen toimeksiannosta ja Puolustusvoimien logistiikkalaitoksen valtuutuksella. Senaatti-kiinteistöt vastaa hankintaprosessin käytännön toteutuksesta. Kumpikin tilaaja tekee kilpailutuksen perusteella oman erillisen hankintasopimuksensa kyseiselle osa-alueelle valitun toimittajan kanssa. Kumpikin tilaaja vastaa oman sopimuksensa mukaisista tilauksista, maksuista ja sopimuksen hallinnasta. Tilaajakohtaiset menettelyt ja ehdot kuvataan tarjouspyynnössä ja sen sopimusliitteissä.
