Hankinnan kohteena ovat Kehyskuntien (Kangasala, Lempäälä, Nokia, Orivesi, Pirkkala, Vesilahti ja Ylöjärvi) kouluille ja päiväkoteihin sekä muihin yksiköihin toimitettavat mustamakkara -tuotteet. Kehyskunnissa tarjottavien aterioiden määrä on päivittäin keskimäärin 43 000 ateriaa. Kehyskuntien peruskoulujen, lukioiden ja päiväkotien ruokalistan raaka-ainepohja on yhdenmukaistettu.
