Uudenmaan elinvoimakeskus käynnistää tällä hankintailmoituksella tarjouskilpailun TIESUUNNITELMAN LAATIJAN hankkimiseksi hankkeella "Maantie 152 välillä vt 3 Hämeenlinnanväylä - kt 45 Tuusulanväylä (Kehä 4)". Uusi noin 13 kilometrin pituinen poikittainen tieyhteys Hämeenlinnanväylän (vt 3) ja Tuusulanväylän (kt 45) välillä muodostaa keskeisen osan Uusimaa-kaava 2050:n liikennejärjestelmää ja tukee Keski-Uudenmaan logistisen kilpailukyvyn kehittämistä. Yhteys tukee logistiikan painopisteen siirtymistä Kehä 3:n vyöhykkeeltä pohjoisemmaksi Keski-Uudellemaalle ja mahdollistaa uusien, riittävän suurten logistiikka- ja yritysalueiden kehittämisen erityisesti Focus-alueella Tuusulassa. Nykyiset yhteydet valtatien 3 suuntaan eivät vastaa elinkeinoelämän tarpeita. Uusi tieyhteys vähentää raskaan liikenteen läpiajoa Keski-Uudenmaan taajamissa, parantaa liikenneturvallisuutta sekä tukee keskusten viihtyisyyttä ja muuta maankäytön kehittämistä. Tie on todettu tärkeäksi suunnittelukohteeksi MAL 2023 -suunnitelmassa.
