Väylävirasto hakee kansiosaston valvojaa avustusjäänmurtajan perus- ja rakentamissuunnittelun ja rakentamisen ajaksi, sekä tukemaan Tilaajaa aluksen takuuaikana. Kansiosaston valvoja toimii Väyläviraston konsulttina toimivan uudisrakennusvalvonnan projektipäällikön koordinoimassa uudisrakennusvalvonnan tiimissä läheisessä yhteistyössä Väyläviraston projektiorganisaation sekä Väyläviraston konsultteina toimivien uudisrakennusvalvonnan projektipäällikön, koneosaston sekä sähkö- ja automaatio-osaston valvojien kanssa. Kansiosaston valvoja vastaa aluksen perus- ja rakentamissuunnittelun ja rakentamisen valvonnasta kansi-, komentosilta- ja yleisjärjestelypuolen osalta Väyläviraston edustajana. Tehtävä on kokoaikainen. Sopimukseen sisältyy lisäksi optio, joka alkaa aluksen luovutuksesta ja päättyy aluksen takuuajan loppuessa.
