id="main"> The Falepili Community Grants program (the Program) is a competitive, flexible small grants program funded by the Australian Government and managed by the Australian High Commission in Tuvalu. The Program invites proposals from AUD $10,000 up to AUD $50,000 that support improved development outcomes for a local community, support the objectives of the Falepili Union, and that complement the broader Australia Tuvalu relationship. Proposals for the Program may cover a period of up to two years. Eligible entities The Falepili Community Grants program is available to eligible organisations in Tuvalu including the following: - Local NGOs and CSOs - Sporting organisations - Religious organisations - Academic institutions - Kaupule - Local community organisations, or individuals acting on behalf of a community or group located in Tuvalu for a development related purpose. The following groups are not eligible to independently apply for this Community Grant funding: - United Nations or other multilateral and regional organisations -

Partner Governments (ie. Government of Tuvalu ministries and departments)

- Australian NGOs - Private businesses - Local communities in Australia Where an activity involves multiple organisations that are eligible to apply for the Falepili Community Grant, an eligible organisation must serve as the Lead Applicant on behalf of the group and be responsible for grant administration, financial management, reporting, and compliance requirements on behalf of all participating organisations. If an individual or organisation organisation has received Direct Aid Program funding before and did not successfully complete the activity, submit their reports, and/or did not adequately acquit their funds, they may not be eligible to receive a grant under the Program, at the discretion of the Australian High Commission. Eligible activities The Program funds activities (such a training, services, small-scale infrastructure) that support improved development outcomes for a local community.
