De gemeente Oldambt wil een toekomstbestendig sport-, zwem- en onderwijscomplex realiseren dat gezondheid, ontwikkeling, ontmoeting en maatschappelijke verbondenheid stimuleert. Daarom is de gemeente Oldambt (voorts: de gemeente) voornemens om één bouwmanagementpartij te contracteren voor de ontwikkeling van een nieuw complex omvattende zwembad, sporthal en school, welke aansluit bij de behoefte van de gemeente, de regio en haar gebruikers. Binnen het project gaat het om de sloop van de huidige voorziening (zonder noodzakelijkheid van tijdelijke huisvesting) op locatie Stikkerlaan (sporthal en school) tot en met de oplevering van het nieuw te realiseren complex (zwembad, sporthal en school).
