Police is seeking information about the products, services and commercial models available in the market to support different levels of PDF capability across a large and diverse workforce. Police wishes to understand how the market can support: • standard PDF viewing, printing and annotation; • PDF creation, conversion, editing and optical character recognition; • secure electronic redaction and information disclosure; • legal, court and specialist document workflows; • integration with the Microsoft 365 and managed-device environment; • usage analytics and licence optimisation; • tiered or targeted licensing arrangements; and • implementation, transition, support and change management. Police is not assuming that a single product or licence type must support every user. The RFI will help Police understand whether a tiered PDF service could provide appropriate functionality to different user groups while improving commercial flexibility and value for money.
