— From the tender document (ATC04ALASR.pdf): 1.1 The Telecom Exchanges /MSCs/BTS sites work on round the clock mode and it requires stable and uninterrupted power supply to the equipment. The DG sets are used for power supply during emergency whenever EB supply is interrupted. Requisitions is given by Telecom operation side for repairing & servicing of Non-AMC DG sets on immediate basis. Accordingly NIT is prepared for repairing and servicing of Non-AMC DG sets so as to smooth and uninterrupted / need based repair. The scope of work comprises of repair of DG sets of various capacities as indicated in the bid document or Schedule 2.1 The materials needed for repair and servicing have to be arranged by the Service Provider as per requirement at site. Materials/spares arranged by Service Provider shall be of same makes as per the original existing equipment, in case the materials not available in the approved makes list shall be of good quality of makes (ISI) duly approved by Engineer-in-charge. 2.2 Replacement of defective/damaged material shall be of approved original make spares only. 2.3 Dismantled materials shall be the property of all those items for which the supply/replacement is 2.4 To ensure timely replacement of faulty items, spare material required as per schedule of requirements shall be maintained at nodal station/s. The list of material and their quantities in proportion to the quantum of work involved in the contract and name of station/s will be declared by Engineer-in-charge at the time of commencement of the work. 3.1 All tools and plants required for carrying out various tasks relevant to repair and servicing of equipment have to be arranged by Service Provider at his own cost. 3.2 The Service Provider will provide the persons with necessary Testing and safety equipment. 3.3 The smooth repair and servicing of equipment shall be Service Provider’s responsibility and shall
