Forsvarsministeriets Materiel-og Indkøbsstyrelse har behov for at købe Maritim teknisk ekspert bistand indenfor den maritime industri, indenfor følgende kategorier: kategori 1. Skibsdesign og -konstruktion kategori 2. Maskindesign og -konstruktion kategori 3. Køleteknik og ventilation. Ansøgeren skal angive, hvilken/hvilke kategorier der ansøges om deltagelse i. Ansøgeren skal indsende et (1) ESPD per kategori som vedkommende ansøger om deltagelse i. Hvis ansøgeren i en kategori ansøger om deltagelse som del af et konsortium (en sammenslutning af økonomiske aktører), og i den anden kategori ikke ansøger som en del af et konsortium, skal der udfyldes et ESPD for hver kategori. Det indsendte ESPD skal afspejle, hvem den egentlige ansøger er. Kategori 1: Skibsdesign og -konstruktion omfatter alle opgaver i relation hertil som f.eks. skibsdesign, styrkeberegning, stabilitetsberegninger, ombygning af fartøjer, udarbejdelse af specifikationer og dokumentation, tilsyn m.v. Kategori 2: Maskindesign og -konstruktion omfatter alle opgaver relateret hertil som f.eks. motortest, fejlundersøgelser, udarbejdelse af forslag til designændringer, udarbejdelse af testrapporter, redesign, brændstoftanke, udarbejdelse af specifikationer og dokumentation mv. Kategori 3: Køleteknik og ventilation omfatter alle opgaver relateret hertil som dimensionering af køle- og ventilationsanlæg, test og fejlundersøgelse.
