Background information / Compatibility requirements

The State Sport Centres Trust is a statutory authority responsible for governing the State Sport Centre’s four venues; Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre (MSAC), the State Netball and Hockey Centre (Parkville), Lakeside Stadium and the State Basketball Centre (Knox). As a premier multi-sport facility in Victoria, our vision is to enable sporting organisations and individuals to achieve peak performance, reach their potential and deliver world-class events.

Currently, one compressor system has failed completely. This failed unit has been decommissioned, leaving operations entirely reliant on a single remaining compressor that is also near its end-of-life. To eliminate the critical risk of system downtime and restore operational reliability to required standards, this project will proactively replace both compressor systems and all associated components.
