DIO'en skal dekke alt av behov knyttet til sceneteknisk bistand, men primærarrangementet vil være Arendalsuka. Arendal kommune vil kunne bruke denne avtalen til andre arrangementer der det er behov for teknisk bistand.
Omfanget gjelder teknisk bistand for avvikling av sceneinnhold og foredrag under blant annet Arendalsuka. Dette inkluderer teknisk koordinering, teknisk utstyr og teknisk bemanning. Arendalsukas egne scener er i stor grad leid ut til ulike aktører, så teknisk personell som tilbys må også kunne fungere som en god representant for Arendalsuka. Det gjelder høy grad av service, strekker seg lengre enn kun sitt fagfelt, og tar ett overordnet ansvar for en sømløs avvikling. Denne avtalen innbefatter lyd, lys og scene, og i noen tilfeller også AV tekniske løsninger.
