Den udbudte kontrakt omfatter 2 delaftaler, og der indgås én samlet kontrakt med én leverandør. Delaftale 1 omfatter billetkontrol i Aarhus Letbane og bybusserne i Aarhus med udførelse af 12500 kontroller i Aarhus Letbane og 66250 kontroller i bybusserne årligt. Delaftale 2 omfatter billetkontrol i busser uden for Aarhus med udførelse af 23800 kontroller årligt, samt kvalitetskontroller i busser i hele Midttrafiks område med udførelse af 6000 kontroller årligt. Kontrakten er en tidsubegrænset kontrakt, hvor begge parter har mulighed for at opsige kontrakten med minimum 6 måneders varsel for Midttrafiks vedkommende og 18 måneders varsel for leverandørensvedkommende. Kontrakten kan dog tidligst opsiges til udløb den 31.12.2031. Kontrakten løber således indtil en af parterne opsiger den. Der er krav om virksomhedsoverdragelse af de medarbejdere (pt. 17) der i dag udfører billetkontrol i bybusserne i Aarhus.
