Formålet med anskaffelsen er å dekke kommunens behov for kjøp av dekk og dekktjenester til små og store kjøretøy (lastebil, traktor, brannkjøretøy mm).Det skal opprettes rammeavtale med inntil tre leverandører hvor det skal avropes etter fossefallsmetoden. Fossefallsmetoden innebærer at oppdragsgiver først henvender seg til leverandør rangert nr. 1. Oppdragsgiver går kun videre til neste rangerte leverandør dersom høyest rangerte ikke kan levere helt eller delvis.
