Binnen dit Dynamisch Aankoop Systeem worden inhuuropdrachten uitgezet voor technisch, wetenschappelijk en aanverwant specialistisch personeel ten behoeve van de Nederlandse Onderzoekschool voor Astronomie. Dit omvat dienstverlening op technisch wetenschappelijk gebied waaronder: (opto-)mechanica (werktuigbouw), elektronica, data science, robotica, mechatronica, nanotechnologie en (embedded) software. Voorbeelden van functies die kunnen worden uitgevraagd binnen deze categorie zijn; engineers met een werktuigbouwkundige, optische of elektronische kennis, system engineers en software engineers. In sommige gevallen is er behoefte aan ingenieurs die een bijdrage kunnen leveren op een ander inhoudelijk technisch gebied.
