Záměrem zadavatele je ve stávajícím objektu provést stavební a technologickou rekonstrukci současného stravovacího provozu a tím vytvořit podmínky pro vznik a fungování moderního stravovacího provozu za účelem zajištění produkce a výdeje stravy pro potřeby pracovníků ministerstva. Cílem plánované rekonstrukce je hlavně výměna a doplnění gastrotechnologického vybavení kuchyně (včetně přípravy bezlepkové stravy), úprava prostor výdeje jídel, výměna vnitřních povrchů (dlažby keramické obklady, podhledy, výmalby), umístění samoobslužné prodejny, nové řešení vzduchotechniky.
