Predmetni obuhvat čini novoformairana parcela k.č.br. 1863/1 k.o. Peščenica. Na zajedničkoj čestici nalazit će se Osnovna škola Dragutina Kušlana i postojeća građevina III. Gimnazije. Prema propozicijama iz GUP-a grada Zagreba, u gusto naseljenim područjima, odnosno u već formiranim naseljima veličina građevne čestice škole iznosi minimalno 20 m2 po učeniku. Novoformirana čestica dostatna je za potrebe III. Gimnazije - max 672 učenika te Oš Dragutina Kušlana sa planiranih 448 učenika. Postojeća škola nalazi se na istočnom dijelu čestice, dok se izgradnja Osnovne škole planira na njenom zapadnom, izdvojenom dijelu.
