La OIT elaborará el estudio regional "Trabajo decente y formalización en el sector de la construcción en América Latina y el Caribe: avances, desafíos y perspectivas". El objetivo de la consultoría es elaborar el panorama del sector, el empleo y la informalidad en la construcción (Parte I del estudio), mediante el análisis estadístico del empleo y la informalidad en el sector a partir del SIALC. Las actividades comprenden: i) caracterizar el sector y el empleo en la construcción a partir de encuestas de hogares (2019–2025) y otras fuentes existentes; ii) analizar los niveles, tendencias, brechas y factores asociados a la informalidad, incluida la productividad laboral; y iii) presentar un plan de trabajo inicial y elaborar un borrador y una versión final de las secciones estadísticas de la Parte I, con su anexo estadístico, sobre la base de la cobertura estadística y el plan de tabulados preliminar definidos en la nota conceptual.
