The Government of Mongolia has applied for financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Fourth Energy Sector Project (P509161) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for “ Design Verification, Update and Construction of Mandalgobi - Arvaikheer 220 kV Double-Circuit Transmission Line (287 km), in Three Lots” . The Ministry of Energy intends to initially select Applicants for Design Verification, Update and Construction of Mandalgobi - Arvaikheer 220kV Double-Circuit Transmission Line (287 km), in Three Lots.

Lot 3: Tower No. 581 to Tower No. 868

Time for Completion:

24 months (Design Verification, Update and Construction) for each lot (Lot 1, Lot 2 and Lot 3)

Defect notification period:

36 months

It is expected that the Request for Proposals will be issued in January 2027 . Initial Selection will be conducted through the procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, February 2025 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Applicants as defined in the Procurement Regulations. A pre-application meeting will be held virtually on 20 November 2026 at 15:00 Hours (Local time) . The meeting link will be provided to all registered Applicants via their official email addresses. Applications for Initial Selection should be submitted in clearly marked envelopes and delivered to the address below by 14 :00 Hours (Local time) on 11 December 2026 . Late Applications will be returned unopened .
