Champion Creek Pit Rock Crushing

Description:

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Choose an item. are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 212321 - Construction Sand and Gravel Mining.  The small business standard is No more than 500 employees.  This acquisition is Firm Fixed Price.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.

General Information:

1.0 Scope of Work This project will develop the Champion Creek Pit for crushed aggregate surfacing material for use on forest roads. This work includes all required clearing, grubbing, topsoil stripping, overburden removal, material processing/crushing, material stockpiling, and restoration activities when finished. The Champion Creek Pit is located on the Sawtooth National Recreation Area of the Sawtooth National Forest.

From the Sawtooth NRA Ranger Station, travel south along State Highway 75 for approximately 13.5 miles. Turn left on Forest Road 70458, veer left, and continue about
