The Egyptian-Spanish Joint Technological Co-operation Program supports collaborative research and development (R&D) projects between Egyptian and Spanish organizations. The Science, Technology, and Innovation Funding Authority (STDF) of Egypt and the CDTI of Spain have launched a joint call to strengthen technological and research cooperation between organizations in Egypt and Spain. The programme supports ambitious, high-quality R&D projects that bring together organizations from both countries to develop practical technological solutions. Projects should aim to generate new or improved: The programme is designed to strengthen bi-regional technological cooperation while supporting innovation and industrial development. An eligible consortium must include:
Research institutes and universities are encouraged to participate as additional partners or subcontractors where relevant to the proposed project. The Egyptian consortium must include at least one qualified researcher who: The researcher should have a meaningful role in the proposed R&D project. An Egyptian industrial partner is also required. The industrial partner should contribute to the collaborative development and potential application of the proposed technology, product, process, or service. This requirement helps connect research activities with industrial and commercial applications. The consortium must include at least one company from Spain.
