Details
The International Organization for Migration (IOM), through its CAPACITY Programme, seeks to engage a qualified Research and Innovation Partner to undertake the CAPACITY Strategic Opportunity and Research Initiative: Identifying, Testing and Scaling Innovative Approaches to Migration Governance. The assignment will support the generation of strategic knowledge, applied research, and innovative solutions that strengthen migration governance programming across CAPACITY partner countries and regions. The initiative will identify emerging migration governance priorities, underexplored thematic areas, and opportunities for innovation, piloting, and evidence generation to inform future investments and programming. Building on these findings, the selected partner will conduct in-depth applied research on a priority theme and develop practical tools, pilot concepts, operational frameworks, and strategic recommendations that contribute to policy dialogue, institutional strengthening, and future programme development. The assignment will be implemented over the period January 2027 to December 2028 and will support CAPACITY's objective of advancing safe, orderly, and regular migration through evidence-based, development-oriented, and operationally relevant approaches.
