Details

Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The assignment consists of professionally typesetting and laying out the Arabic translation of the ILO’s Policy guidelines for the promotion of decent work in recycling. Using the existing English Adobe InDesign files, the collaborator will adapt the publication for Arabic right-to-left text, ensuring appropriate typography, formatting, readability and consistency with ILO branding and publication standards. The approximately 25,800-word document must retain the structure and visual identity of the English version. Deliverables include print-ready and web-optimized PDFs, editable InDesign and IDML files, and associated assets. The assignment includes up to two rounds of revisions and must be completed within five working days. If you are interested, please express interest and follow the instructions attached to consult the detailed terms of reference and other relevant information in the ILO e-sourcing platform. Please submit your proposal before the specified deadline. Thank you.

Before you bid on this tender

A quick checklist to help you decide whether to bid and prepare a compliant submission for this media, printing & advertising opportunity. Always verify the details on the official source.

  • Confirm the exact closing date and time (and time zone) on the official portal — deadlines are strict and can be revised by a corrigendum.
  • Read the full notice and every attached document, including the scope, specifications and any bill of quantities or terms of reference.
  • Check the eligibility criteria — prior similar experience, annual turnover, certifications and registrations — and make sure you qualify before investing effort.
  • Prepare any earnest-money deposit (EMD) or bid security and the required formats early; missing or wrongly-formatted documents are a common cause of rejection.
