Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The ILO is seeking a Cooperative Development Advisor to provide remote technical advisory support and independent review for an intervention centred on the Union of Cooperatives of Deir El Ahmar, which aims to strengthen the competitiveness and sustainability of the potato value chain in Deir El Ahmar, Bekaa. The advisor will cover four areas: reviewing the methodology and tools used for the institutional and business assessment of the Union; providing technical inputs and reviewing its business and operational plan; advising on the design of a coaching plan for its board and management; and recommending which ILO cooperative tools — Think.COOP, Start.COOP and Manage.COOP — are best suited to strengthening the Union and its member cooperatives.
