Dear Bidder,
The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for a national or international individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator.
Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The International Labour Organization (ILO) seeks a national or international external collaborator to assess and strengthen the role of the Social Security Corporation (SSC) within Jordan's shock-responsive social protection system. The assignment will develop and refine a conceptual framework for shock-responsive social insurance, drawing on international good practice and existing ILO materials. The consultant will review SSC's previous crisis responses, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, assess current preparedness and institutional arrangements, benchmark SSC's experience against international practice, and identify opportunities for strengthening the role of social insurance in responding to future shocks and crises. The consultant will work closely with SSC and relevant stakeholders throughout the assignment and develop a practical roadmap with prioritised recommendations for strengthening shock-responsive social insurance in Jordan. The assignment will also contribute to regional knowledge sharing by facilitating a technical session on SRSI during a regional workshop and documenting lessons learned from Jordan's experience.
If you are interested, please express interest and follow the instructions attached to consult the detailed terms of reference and other relevant information in the ILO e-sourcing platform.
Please submit your proposal before the specified deadline.
Thank you. ILO Jordan Team
