Call for External Collaborator/ Affordable and Green Housing Consultant in Mozambique

The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The ILO is seeking an Affordable and Green Housing Consultant to provide on-the-ground technical expertise, coordination and quality assurance for affordable, green and climate-smart housing interventions in Sofala and Manica provinces. The consultant will support implementation of a grants scheme for emerging housing developers, provide technical oversight and guidance during implementation, conduct structural assessments of houses constructed under the scheme, collect and analyse monitoring data, and coordinate with enterprises, municipalities and service providers. The consultant will also provide coaching and coordination support to emerging developers adopting a digital rent-to-own model and progressing towards loan readiness. The assignment will document results, best practices, lessons learned and recommendations for scaling the initiative.
