EL PITCH GLOBAL is an international open call inviting individuals, teams, companies, organizations, collectives, and other entities to present innovative projects, ideas, and proposals shaping the present and future of music and the music industry. The initiative provides selected participants with an opportunity to showcase their work to music industry professionals during BIME Bilbao 2026. Eligible projects can range from artistic and cultural initiatives to technology, services, platforms, new business models, and other projects connected to the wider music ecosystem.

About EL PITCH GLOBAL

EL PITCH GLOBAL is designed to highlight diverse projects and ideas contributing to the evolution of the music sector. The open call welcomes projects at different stages of development, provided they are clearly defined, relevant to music or its ecosystem, and suitable for presentation and evaluation. The initiative aims to provide visibility to innovative approaches while creating opportunities for participants to connect with professionals from the international music industry. What Types of Projects Are Eligible? EL PITCH GLOBAL welcomes a broad range of projects connected to music and the music industry.

Submissions may include:

- Artistic proposals. - Cultural initiatives. - Live music projects. - Music creation and production. - Music distribution. - Communication initiatives. - Rights management projects. - Music technology. - Innovative tools and services. - New business models. - Music-related platforms. - Projects connecting music with other sectors or disciplines. - Initiatives with social impact. - Initiatives with cultural impact. - Initiatives with territorial impact. The call is intended to reflect the diversity of the wider music ecosystem rather than focusing on a single type of project. Who Can Apply? EL PITCH GLOBAL is open to applicants from any country.

Eligible applicants may include:

- Individuals. - Teams. - Companies. - Organizations. - Collectives. - Other entities. The applicant’s project must be related to music or the music ecosystem. Projects at Different Development Stages Projects do not have to be fully completed to participate. Both ongoing projects and projects in development can be submitted, provided that they are sufficiently defined and can be presented and evaluated. This allows applicants to showcase emerging ideas as well as initiatives that are already being developed or implemented. What Happens to Selected Projects? Selected projects will be invited to present their proposals during BIME Bilbao 2026. The selected projects will participate in two pitch sessions taking place on: - 27 October 2026 - 28 October 2026 The sessions will form part of the event’s professional programme. Pitch Presentation Format Each selected project will have five minutes to present its proposal to an audience of music industry professionals.

The presentation will be followed by:

- A brief question-and-answer session. - Feedback from the audience and professionals. Participants should therefore be able to communicate their project’s purpose, innovation, relevance, and potential clearly within the five-minute presentation period. International Participation The open call is international and accepts applications from individuals and organizations worldwide. Projects can originate from any country as long as they have a clear connection to music or the broader music ecosystem. The international scope of the initiative allows projects from different cultural, artistic, technological, and business environments to be represented. Social, Cultural, and Territorial Impact Projects with wider social, cultural, or territorial impact are particularly encouraged to apply. This may include initiatives that use music to contribute to communities, cultural development, local environments, or broader social objectives. The call therefore extends beyond conventional music industry projects and welcomes initiatives demonstrating connections between music and wider societal or cultural areas. Important Participation Conditions Being selected for EL PITCH GLOBAL does not automatically provide access to BIME Bilbao.

Selected participants must:

- Purchase their own accreditation or access to BIME Bilbao. - Attend the event in person in Bilbao. - Be available on the assigned date and time for their pitch session. Participants should therefore consider travel and event access requirements before applying. What EL PITCH GLOBAL Does Not Guarantee Participation in EL PITCH GLOBAL provides visibility and networking opportunities, but it does not guarantee a commercial relationship with BIME or attending professionals. The initiative does not involve any commitment by BIME or participating professionals to: - Invest in selected projects. - Hire participants. - Provide funding. - Collaborate with selected projects. Applicants should therefore view the opportunity primarily as a platform for presentation, visibility, networking, and professional feedback. How to Prepare a Strong Pitch Applicants should ensure that their project is clearly defined and easy to understand within the five-minute presentation period.
