Nesbyen kommune og Norges vassdrags- og energidirektorat (NVE) trenger bistand til byggeledelse for å gjennomføre tiltakene som skal sikre Nesbyen sentrum i Nesbyen kommune mot flom fra elva Rukkedøla og fra Hallingdalselva. NVE bistår Nesbyen kommune med planlegging og gjennomføring av flomsikringstiltakene. Anskaffelsen estimeres til en verdi på ca. 15 millioner kroner eks. mva.
